October 05th, 202210/5/2022 I have 3 boys left. All sweet and mellow. Life has changed greatly for us recently with my husband suffering from severe injuries after an accident, leaving him in a wheelchair for 2 months at least. I am also due to have a baby within a month's time... and these boys are not getting the attention they need anymore. I want them to be getting the love and attention they deserve. I'd normally never lower their prices as I have, but they need to get "home" as that's what's best for them. They are $600 each (but I am not set on that) good homes are most important. Please reach out for a contract.
They are up to date on vaccines and deworming. They are UKC registerable. They are CEA Clear or carrier, Non-Carrier for PRA, CN, HUU, VWDII, DM, and MDR1 n/n. Snickers, sable headed white Muskateer, sable merle headed white Reeses, tricolor

September 09th, 20229/9/2022 5 of Esther's beautiful babies are still looking for their forever buddies.
All five are males. They are $800 each as pets, $1850 with full registration/breeding rights. They are UKC registerable. *Crunch is a very quiet, reserved boy. He just draws at my heart strings. I can almost always find him near. He avoids the crowding and playing of his litter mates. He will happily play with one at a time, but seems to shy away from the group. I feel he also prefers adults to children. He is a tri headed white. *Reeses loves farm life. He loves to do chores, to be around the livestock and around people. He is sweet and happy. He loves children and adults. He has become dear to me as he's always ready for me when I go to do chores. He is a white factored tri. *Twix... I'm not sure I can say enough about this boy. He is going to be big and beautiful. He loves people and is happy to do whatever his people are doing. He also enjoys being around the livestock. I think he's going to grow into an incredible boy. He is a white factored Sable. *Snickers is a bit of a "hang back and check it out" boy. He doesn't care too much for the livestock, but is happy to be there if the people are. He's going to be beautiful and he'd love to go on adventures with his forever best friend. He is a sable headed white. *Muskateer... if he doesn't make you smile, then nothing will. He is always happy and he absolutely adores children. He is the smallest in the litter, but he thinks he's big. He is a sable merle headed white. *Hershey is reserved.

September 04th, 20229/4/2022 I've owned a lot of dogs and a variety of dog breeds throughout my life, and yesterday it occured to me, that collies are my favorite breed of all the ones I've owned.
I have truly loved the 2 litters we've had this year. They are what I have been striving for in my breeding program... and I could never have gotten to where I am, without Suzi, my mentor and fellow breeder. Because of her diligent breeding, I've got to jump ahead in my program and continue refining the breed for what I'm seeking. *Genetically clearing up the lines *breeding for a less dense coat that makes it more managable for everyone, but especially in a farm/ranch setting *breeding for very calm, loyal, intellegent, eager to please dispositions. Dispositions especially suited for life around young children and livestock of all kinds. Out of 19 puppies we have 5 males left. These boys are all UKC registerable. *Muskateer is the smallest boy, he absolutely loves people and seems to have a fondness for children. He is a sable merle headed white. *Reeses is usually at my feet, quiet, mellow, observant and tends to like the animals as well as people. He is a tri. *Twix is the biggest boy of the litter and continues to get more beautiful. He is quiet, intelligent and observant. I personally love him. He is a sable. *Crunch is very similar to Reeses in personality. If Reeses isn't at my feet, Crunch is. He is a little more shy and reserved, but very calm and seems to find his way around the livestock several times a day. He is a tri headed white. *Snickers seems to be quite laid back. Somehow I feel like I see him the least of all the puppies. He is a very sweet boy and my daughter's favorite. I do think he tends to favor being with the children over the livestock. He is a sable headed white. please email us, comment or message us with any questions regarding these sweet boys. *A couple other puppies are pictured but they are reserved.

September 01st, 20229/1/2022 Reeses is the sweetest little guy. He is out of Esther's litter and will be 8 weeks old tomorrow! (The time has flown with all the sweet babies we've had).
Reeses has grown into a sweet, quiet and loyal little guy. He usually finds me and lays at my feet (Just as Phoenix does, the last one from Everly's litter). Reeses has 4 brothers still looking for homes as well. Please email or message us if you'd like to know more.

August 31st, 20228/31/2022 Baby Butterfly has been doing well. We did just switch her off of donkey milk and goat's milk to milk replacer. I don't have enough goat milk to feed her for 4 to 5 months, so we made the switch. So now I'm just watching to make sure she's feeling well and pooping and peeing as she should.
Today was their first day out of the barn and they both seemed quite pleased. Butterfly even played a bit. She's being fed every 4 hours around the clock (just switched from 3 to 4 today). She seems to be staying full, which is what we want.

August 31st, 20228/31/2022 Phoenix is the last boy from Everly's litter still here. His litter mates have all left for their new homes. Phoenix has stood out to me since the beginning, as just being so chill and relaxed. He's going to be a big boy I believe, most likely around 70 lbs, and he really craves just being with "his person". He is AKC registerable. He is 10 weeks old today. Please write us if interested in knowing more about him.

August 29th, 20228/29/2022 I should have written this yesterday, but exhaustion took over.
Mama Lady Bug and baby Butterfly are doing well. Mama is feeling better and Butterfly is drinking from a bucket really well. I fed her every hour to 2 hours the first 48 hours, now I'm doing every 3 hours. It's been quite exhausting but rewarding. I'm thinking I'm not going to get them going as baby nursing mama, but I'm still trying. They love each other so that is good. Here is a picture of Butterfly-

August 28th, 20228/28/2022 I know not many people are following this but I still feel bad for not updating Esther's puppies sooner.
They are doing great. We sure enjoy them. I hadn't had time to spend with them like I wanted to the past few days so I really enjoyed today... sitting with them and watching them. If they are reserved, their pictures say. Otherwise they are still needing a family.

August 27th, 20228/27/2022 These are times I rely heavily on my FB Farm Family. And I can't reach them. Yesterday we had a heavily bred mini jenny arrive. She came (along with a couple others we found homes for) from a small farm in TX whose family's property burned in the wildfires down there. So they had to sell their mini donkey herd. Anyway, I prayed nonstop that Lady Bug would make it here without foaling. When she stepped off the trailer yesterday I knew it would be last night that she foaled. For some reason my monitor didn't got off, but I woke up right around midnight to a new foal. Mama was doing a good job and baby was moving around, trying to stand. I decided to just let them be for a bit. About 45 minutes later baby was up but just standing against the fence, so I went out. She was cold so I dried her more and then milked mama and gave her some colostrum. I tried to get her to suckle from mom but she had no suck reflex, which I do find sometimes in foals that are a bit too cold. This morning she still had not nursed and she was holding her head up like she was looking into the air. So I did the madigan squeeze but it didn't seem to reset her (this was after 2 hours of working with her). Then we did it again about thirty minutes later. Still seemed to have done nothing. I called the vet, she just said do all I could to get baby to nurse, as we wanted to avoid a feeding tube. When I went back out to milk mama more and syringe feed baby, the baby actually had a suck reflex! I praised God for this change. However, then mama didn't want to be messed with, so I left them for an hour until I got some help. Baby's suck reflex has gotten stronger all day and mama has relaxed again, however she doesn't seem to feel great. I have been syringe feeding baby colostrum all day (every 60 to 90 minutes) and then also trying to get her to suckle mama. Baby seems to have decided I am her mama and Lady Bug loves her but seems to feel bad enough, she's not overly motherly. My heart is breaking as this jenny has been through so much the past 10 days... and this baby, I'm doing all I can but I've lost many like this in the past... so I'm riding on prayer. If you read this, please pray for both Lady Bug and baby. And in other news, our rescue (needs a name) also arrived. She may be the sweetest jenny I've ever met. But she definitely doesn't feel the greatest either, but she has perked up as the day has went on.
