We ask that you make a 'GOOD FAITH' PAYMENT: A Payment of $250.00 showing Good Faith is to be made after signing this contract. This puts Buyer on Aspen Meadow Farm Collie Waiting List. If Buyer cancels their reservation this payment is Non-Refundable. These monies go towards the total purchase price of your puppy/dog. If we are unable to match you with a puppy after 1 year, you may request a refund of these monies. All balances must be paid in full before puppy leaves Aspen Meadow Farm. (No checks accepted on pickup date)
1) The Buyer agrees to provide a lifelong commitment, comfortable environment, prompt medical attention, proper grooming and responsible care. This includes keeping this puppy/dog parasite free and up to date with inoculations, proper nutrition, which consists of a good quality feed given at regular intervals, and fresh water available at all times. The Buyer promises to provide a safe environment for the dog, and never allow the dog to roam freely without proper fencing or supervision. The Breeder recommends that the puppy/dog be micro-chipped or tattooed in order to facilitate his return if lost or stolen. Training classes are recommended for a happy relationship between the collie and family.
2) The Breeder guarantees this puppy to be of sound health and temperament at the time of this sale. Should puppy/dog be determined to be in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the Breeder, the dog may, upon signed written diagnosis from agreed upon veterinarian, be returned for a replacement puppy or refund of monies, with the exception of the $250 non-refundable Deposit/handling fees. Coccidiosis is treated for as a preventative, and not covered in any warranty as it can be caused by stress of travel and more. Guardia is also treated for as a preventative in our strict 2,4,6,8 week preventative schedule. The Breeder will assume NO responsibility if this puppy/dog is given Ivermectin, Immodium or any of the MDR1 collie-sensitive drugs and suffers an adverse reaction. No other guarantees are given. Aspen Meadow Farm gives a 5 year guarantee free of genetic disease on the puppy. Both Parents have been DNA tested to be free of any genetic disease as part of our due diligence as a breeder." Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by their own veterinarian within 72 hours of possession of the puppy, and to inform the seller immediately of any health problems that may be detected. This time period is crucial to validate health guarantee. (see more details below)
3) The Breeder is selling this puppy with Limited Registration, (unless otherwise agreed upon between breeder and buyer and in writing) and All Limited rights under AKC registration. The dog must be spayed or neutered at appropriate age of 2 yrs as this is determined to be a safer time to alter your puppy. The Buyer will be responsible for all cost incurred for this. If the neuter/spay is done before 18 months of age, the 5 yr genetic health guarantee on puppy is voided. IF breeding rights have been agreed upon and granted by breeder to buyer, buyer agrees to sell only pets/companion puppies sired or given birth by this collie, and NO offspring from this collie will be offered for sale, given, or traded to anyone with full registration/ show/ breeding rights. This is to protect our puppies and lineage.
3b) If you breed this collie without rights to do so you must contact us and pay the difference for breeding rights on this collie. Total purchase price of $1850. Responsible breeding only to continue the health of the collie breed. If sold for breeding and within 7 years she or he does not produce (need to have Vet proof and speak with Vet) it is considered a pet. I’ll sell another one at pet price with full rights. SELLER WARRANTY TO BUYER *We guarantee collie to be normal eyed. This puppy will never get and is clear of CEA, PRA, CN, HUU, VWDII & DM. The parents had eyes checked by an"Ophthalmologist", most 3 generations back and DNA tested parents are free from CEA & PRA for eye, CN, HUU, VWDII, & DM which means will never suffer from Degenerative Myelopathy". *This warranty also guarantees for a period of Five years from date of birth, We provide, collie in good condition and is free of any hereditary or congenital defects considered to be life threatening or unsuitable for breeding. Should buyer decide to return the dog due to health reasons, seller has the right to have an independent veterinarian provide a second opinion on the diagnosis. Puppy is sold to you as is. At no time is seller responsible for any veterinary bills after the dog is purchased. If said puppy is proven to be defective, a replacement puppy will be provided. In the event of death, an autopsy must be performed at the owners expense to determine the exact cause of death. Transportation of the puppy for delivery or return, is the responsibility and expense of the buyer.. This guarantee does not include, accidents, injuries, shipping costs or illnesses, shots, vet, etc.. or over vaccinations. Only 2 or 3 5-way puppy shots should be given. We Don’t cover; Over vaccination is not covered by breeder. NO LEPTO & BORDETTELLA. No spray/neuter UNDER 18 Months. No Rabies till over 4 months of age and they do better closer to 6 months of age.
4) If at any time the Buyer can no longer retain possession of this dog, the Breeder is to be notified and given first option of resuming full ownership of dog in order for the Breeder to locate this dog a new home. As the breeder, our dogs are welcome back at any time, no questions asked. Refunds, IF ANY, will be at the discretion of the Breeder. The dog will be returned with all AKC papers and medical records and expense of return shall be covered by Buyer. Should any circumstances arise that affect the quality of life of this dog, the breeder/seller is to be informed so that they may participate in determining the future of the dog. The Breeder reserves the right to approve/prohibit any transfer of this animal to a third party. Under no circumstances will this dog be sold as pet or breeding dog, leased as pet or breeding dog, traded or given away to any pet shop, research laboratory, animal shelter, rescue, or similar facility.
4a) If you ever are unable to keep or care for your collie, do you understand that they must be returned to your Aspen Meadow Farm for placement to another approved home at your expense as the buyer? We never want to see one of our dogs in a rescue or shelter. We will accept them back no questions asked at any time.
5) The Buyer agrees to contact the Breeder immediately if any questions or concerns arise about the dog, such as housing, diet, health or training. The buyer agrees to keep the seller informed of any treatment as it occurs. This provides the Breeder with an opportunity to follow up on puppies and gives us important feedback and information on the health or our dogs for future generations.
6) Registration will be done electronically and Transferred to buyer upon completion of sale. It is understood at the time of sale that this puppy is being sold as a Companion dog (unless otherwise agreed upon between breeder and buyer) and it is an outstanding representative of its breed. It is structurally and temperamentally suited as a Collie should be. From our experience, Training classes are strongly recommended for a happy relationship between the dog and new owner.
7) THIS DOG SHOULD NEVER BE FOUND IN A FIGHTING RING, WE WILL PRESS CHARGES Owner agrees that this dog will Never be used in violation of any local, state, or federal laws, or in any manner, which would be detrimental to the health, safety, or well being of the dog or public. The new owner is responsible for all financial and legal issues from the time of this contract. We do not in any way warrant or guarantee the actions or behavior of the dog once it leaves, unless noted. Call us and will try to help. Arrangements will be made to return the dog **NOTE** If, at any time we find the conditions that the dog is living in, inhumane, we have the right to remove and repossess ownership of the dog. The owner must then transfer over all AKC, and pertaining paperwork relating to the dog. Other things, failing to seek medical attention when the dog is ill. NO refunds shall be given.
The preceding paragraphs contain conditions established to ensure the well-being of the dog, but also to uphold and maintain the reputation of quality that all Montana Collie Breeders have established. The Buyer’s agreements will continue for the dog’s life and the Breeder will have the right to enforce the agreements.
I understand by signing and sending good faith monies, this puts my application for review and is not a guaranteed approval. I will receive confirmation that my application has been approved or denied. If denied my good faith monies (minus any fees) will be returned to me via Paypal. The Buyer agrees to use the kennel name of “Aspen Meadow’s (You pick name) ”. We provide papers from both AKC and SCPS for transfer of puppy.

'GOOD FAITH' PAYMENT: A Payment of $250.00 showing Good Faith is to be made after signing this contract. These monies go towards the total purchase price of your puppy/dog. All balances must be paid in full before puppy leaves Aspen Meadow Farm. (No checks accepted on pickup date) Should Buyer cancel purchase of agreed upon puppy, no refund of good faith monies will be refunded. Buyer forfeits $250.
1) The Buyer agrees to provide a lifelong commitment, comfortable environment, prompt medical attention, proper grooming and responsible care. This includes keeping this puppy/dog parasite free and up to date with inoculations, proper nutrition, which consists of a good quality feed given at regular intervals, and fresh water available at all times. The Buyer promises to provide a safe environment for the dog, and never allow the dog to roam freely without proper fencing or supervision. The Breeder recommends that the puppy/dog be micro-chipped or tattooed in order to facilitate his return if lost or stolen.
2) The Breeder guarantees this puppy to be of sound health and temperament at the time of this sale. Should puppy/dog be determined to be in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the Breeder, the dog may, upon signed written diagnosis from agreed upon veterinarian, be returned for refund of the purchase price. The Breeder will assume no responsibility if this puppy/dog is given Ivermectin, Immodium or any of the MDR1 collie-sensitive drugs and suffers an adverse reaction. No other guarantees are given. Aspen Meadow Farm gives a 5 year guarantee free of genetic disease on the puppy. Both Parents have both been DNA tested to be free of any genetic disease as part of our due diligence as a breeder.
3) The Breeder is selling this puppy with Full AKC Registration, and All Full Registration rights under AKC. Breeder may stipulate rights to breed, or retain pick of litter here also. Breeder gives all breeding rights to ________________ and only stipulates this ______________________ must not be bred until 2nd heat or 2 years of age, whichever comes first if female, or not until 6 months of age if a male.
4) If at any time the Buyer can no longer retain possession of this dog, the Breeder is to be notified and given first option of resuming full ownership of dog in order for the Breeder to locate this dog a new home. As the breeder, our dogs are welcome back at any time, no questions asked. Refunds, if any, will be at the discretion of the Breeder. The dog will be returned with all AKC papers and medical records. Should any circumstances arise that affect the quality of life of this dog, the breeder/seller is to be informed so that they may participate in determining the future of the dog. The Breeder reserves the right to approve/prohibit any transfer of this animal to a third party. Under no circumstances will this dog be sold, leased, traded or given away to any pet shop, research laboratory, animal shelter, rescue, or similar facility.
5) The Buyer agrees to contact the Breeder immediately if any questions or concerns arise about the dog, such as housing, diet, health or training. The buyer agrees to keep the seller informed of any treatment as it occurs. This provides the Breeder with an opportunity to follow up on puppies and gives us important feedback and information on the health or our dogs for future generations.
6) It is understood at the time of sale that this Male/Female is being sold as a Show/or Breeding dog and it is an outstanding representative of its breed standards. It is structurally and temperamentally suited as a Companion/ or Show dog. Training classes are recommended for a happy relationship between the dog and new owner. The Buyer agrees to use the kennel name of “Aspen Meadow’s (You pick name) ”. We provide papers from both AKC and SCPS for transfer of puppy.
The preceding paragraphs contain conditions established to ensure the well-being of the dog, but also to uphold and maintain the reputation of quality that Newman Collies has established. The Buyer’s agreements will continue for the dog’s life and the Breeder will have the right to enforce the agreements.
