We have a waitlist for baby mini donkeys. It is a $50 nonrefundable deposit to be on the waitlist. Once it gets to you on the list, and you pick your baby (or babies) it is another $50 nonrefundable deposit to hold baby until weaning at 5 months of age. If transport is needed across state lines, it will be the buyers responsibility to pay for the health certificate and coggins. Aspen Meadow Farm will be responsible for getting the baby to the vet for these tests. You can check more out on our facebook page www.facebook.com/aspenmeadowfarm/

Meet Luna. She is a gorgeous Nigerian Dwarf doe. She was born in 2020 and was a bottle baby of my daughter's. She kidded this year for the first time and did an excellent job and her udder is so nice. (should have pictures soon to post). She is ADGA registered and we hate to see her go. However, with our setup she can jump the fences from our feeders and has learned to climb the fences within the barn (she is a smart girl). So we have decided to rehome her to ensure her safety- not wanting her to get into a pen with a buck that is of a bigger breed than she is or to keep her from getting into supplements that may cause her problems if we were not to catch her soon enough.

Montana Spud is a 6th Gen MDGA registered yearling buckling. I still think he is gorgeous. He is out of Trixie and Bentley (a previous buck we had for several years). There is absolutely nothing wrong with him but I'd like to keep his new younger brother, so that means I have to make more room in the buck pen.

Bell is a MGR registerable fainting doeling. She has marbled eyes and is quite stunning. She was born 3-13-22 and will be ready for her new home at 8 weeks old!

The next 2 pictures are of a fainting Buckling out of Huckleberry and Heath. He is blue-eyed and does have a few moonspots. He can be MGR registered. He is unrelated to the fainting doeling, Bell, above and they would make a great breeding pair! As a pair they can go for $550

This is one of Trixie and Chip's bucklings this year. I have wanted to save a kid out of this pairing for years but things just haven't worked out. This boy is moonspotted and I love his colors!
At this point he is being retained by Aspen Meadow Farm.

Silver Ace is ADGA registered. He was born and raised here. We adore him, but I'm wanting to change up my breeding a bit and how many bucks does a girl need to breed 4 does? He is disbudded and blue roan.

0This is Penny and she came to our farm in November of 2021 from a kill pen in Louisianna. She was very sick and has made a full recovery. She is halter broke and once caught (she can be a bit difficult to catch) she's pretty good. She just had her feet trimmed and did very well with it. I have not told my kids I have posted her. We all adore her, but we have a lot going on and we are having to make some tough decisions. However, with that said, Penny will not be sold without serious thought. An excellent home is a must.
It cost me $1800 just to get her out of the kill pen and to our farm. That doesn't include any of the "after" care that was needed for her. I never expect to get what I paid for the rescues. My goal is to get them here and safe. Get them going on the right path and healthy. And then decide if they should stay or find a new home.
We have done that with Penny and we've fallen in love. But a new home may suit her just a bit better where she'd get more 1-on-1 attention.
We can only guess at her age. We believe she had just been weaned when we arrived here and was probably 7 months old. So I'm guessing she will be a year in April.
I am asking $1000 but to the right home this might be negotiable. Please send us an email with any questions.

Also Penny

Maggie is a sweet girl. She came to me "bred" over 3 years ago and has never foaled. She has been with 3 different mini jacks at my farm and has still not foaled nor shown signs of being in foal. She does cycle and the jacks "breed" her, but it never has amounted to anything. I was told she had foaled before she came to me. She is all black and stands around 31"-32" tall. I have her age but it is not in front of me at the moment, so I can get that upon request.

Cici 2, called C2, is my mom's mini jenny. She is as sweet as they come. I don't know as much about her as she doesn't live at my farm, but I know she's one of the sweet ones and halter broke.
She is exposed to either a 31" ivory jack or a 27" spotted jack.

Petunia is very short and also a bit chunky. She came to my mom's farm with another jenny. They are very bonded, but her buddy is heavy in foal, so she isn't going any where just yet. (I should add that my parents have decided they have to downsize, due to their pasture size and their ability to provide adequate care as they are facing some health issues). Petunia has lost some weight being at my parent's farm and walking their hill, but she is still chunky. She is also exposed to the 31" ivory jack or the 27" spotted jack.

Frosty is a mini Ivory Jack. He is 31-32" tall. He was mistreated and lived where he had no shade last summer, resulting in nearly his whole body getting sunburned and him losing ALL of his hair. A friend of mine rescued him, got him to a vet and gave him many, many, many medicated baths to get his skin to heal and his hair to grow back. Once his hair was coming back in, she wanted a new home for him. I fell in loved and he came here. We fed him tons, kept him blanketed and under shelter during the worst of winter. His hair grew in nice and thick and he put on weight. However, with spring, as all jacks do, he realized he was a jack (just coming 3 years of age), and having 2 jacks is just too hard. So he went to live at my mom's farm for awhile, as she had a few jennies that proved to be a bit too tall for her micro jack... and Frosty seemed to get the job done, but again, 2 jacks is just too many. His hair is a bit darker and I believe this is a result of the "scarring" in his skin from the sunburn he had. His eyes are the deepest blue I've ever seen on an ivory. (I can get a picture if wanted)
Ideally, we'd like to see him go to a pet home, but we are open to just a wonderful home. He was unhandled and then handled by my friend to get daily baths, which made him not overly fond of people, especially men. He will take treats from me, but is hard to catch. He has always led for me well, once caught.
